So today was the last day of my puppet show and it was so emotional for me. I've been working on this piece for so long and I've grown to love my scene partners, director, composer and everyone else involved in this project. This piece meant a lot to my director and therefore it meant a lot to me. People who came to see the piece loved it. It was my dad's first time seeing me perform and that made this experience even more special. Also, my best friend/sister/second mother, Shauna said she was inspired after seeing the puppet show and now she wants to go back to her childhood roots and incorporate "the arts" somehow in her life. I couldn't be more happy and proud to know that I had an impact on my sister's desire to bring "the arts" back into her life. This is why I do what I do. It's not
just for me, it's for everyone.
Were you ever invovled in a project that changed your life or anyone around you? Please share

I'm in love!!!
I can't stop watching Basketball Wives!! I mean the whole show is full of females calling each other "bitches" and isn't helpful for my spiritual growth. I don't feel closer to God or feel like a better person after I watch an episode. But the drama, the fights, the crazy personalities work for me. Also, the individual back story that is revealed about each person over the course of the show intrigues me.
Everyone has a story. At first I thought some of the females were mean because they were bored and found enjoyment in harassing others. Then, episode after episode their hard shell started to peel off as they revealed pain, hurt, and embarrassment that they experienced in their past. If the females on the show didn't share their past issues, I would have stopped watching the show a long time ago. I admire honesty. It takes a brave person to speak openly and truthfully to the world.
The ladies honesty is the reason why I'm so in love with the show. Well some of the ladies are honest and real and I watch the show because they keep it “100”.
What's one of your fav ratchet shows?

BTW, I don't cook, clean or have a career.
Raise your hand if you think you're wifey material. I'm sure every female will raise her hand and have a prepared list of why she's wifey material. More than half will be wrong.
Ever since I could remember I've always dreamt of being married with kids. I picture myself having a huge white house with a lot of land. Thinking about it now puts a smile on my face. However being a wife is hard work. A lot of my ways now would have to change. My space would constantly be shared with my husband and any ounce of selfishness could cause an argument. For example, I love to sleep and get very cranky when my sleep is interrupted. So I'm def not perfect! I do however inform my partner about my flaws and give him a warning. I don't think he wants to experience "Nicole's wrath".
The things that I believe makes a good wife are:
-A god fearing woman
-A loyal woman
-A woman who cooks for her man everyday.
-A woman who keeps the house clean.
-A woman who keeps herself looking nice
-A woman that can please her man in the bedroom
-A woman who's supportive of her husband.
-A woman who's vocal about her thoughts
-A honest woman
-A woman who can compromise
-A woman who has a career or is productive in someway
-A woman who has patience
These are just a few qualities that come to mind, however it also depends on who your partner is and what they like. If you're trying to be the best wife that you can be best believe your husband should be making sure your happiness is number one at all times.
In your opinion, what does a good wife have to possess?
"Let the wife make the husband glad to come home, and let him make her sorry to see him leave."

If you're tired of breast feeding, get rid of the baby!
Are you in love with a grown boy? Not sure?
Signs that you're dealing with a grown boy:
- He always seems to mention a family crisis only when he's in the dog house? (hoping that you will feel sorry for him).
- He makes you feel bad when you did nothing wrong.
- He shows low confidence and doesn't know his self-worth.
- He doesn't know what he wants in life or in a relationship.
Now if you read the signs above and it rings true for the person you're dealing with well then you are dealing with a grown boy who's main tactic is to play victim. RUN FOR THE HILLS!! This guy doesn't have any potential, and is holding you back. If you put up with this, it's your own fault. Nobody will feel sorry for you. Stop wasting your time, go find yourself a sexy MAN who can actually give you something in return, and give the grown boy back to his momma.
Have you ever dealt with a grown man boy? I have, and it was so draining!!

"YOU A DIRTY LIE"!!!!
OK, so how do we feel about cheaters? HATE THEM! no seriously nobody likes a cheater. A relationship works when both members are honest, trust one another, communicate, and have the same vision in life.
just in case your unaware of what cheating means...it's when a person is having a private relationship that their partner doesn't know about. Yes, even talking on the phone late nights with somebody you're interested in behind your partner's back is cheating. I've always been terrified to be cheated on, however I discovered it's nothing to fear. Instead, it's a great conversation to have with a potential partner.
Discuss your views on cheating with your potential partner. Express your passion for a strong monogamous relationship. If they express the same passion, then that should help you trust them and feel better about starting a relationship with this person.
"what's done in the dark is brought to light" SO FEAR NOT! If your partner is messing around, you will find out about it. No need to dig for dirt, you'll only drive yourself crazy.

Aren't You Worth it?
Too many females are giving up the goods way too fast. Relationships are more than physical attraction. Don't get me wrong, there should definitely be sexual tension between you and whomever you're talking to. However, that doesn't mean you should let him drop them panties so fast. Instead, build a bond with him. Try to become best friends. By building a strong bond with one another you learn to trust and communicate with each other. Communication and trust are two essential aspects in a relationship. I say, save sex for someone who's willing to wait and build something with you that will last. After all, aren't you worth it.

DO YOU LOVE YOURSELF?
Do you have self-compassion? You may think that you have high self-esteem, and view your self as a confident person, but that doesn't mean you have self-compassion.
Self-compassion is extending compassion to one's self in instances of perceived inadequacy, failure, or general suffering.
How many times have you called yourself stupid, fat, or not good enough? I used to speak to myself this way, to motivate myself to lose weight, read more or overall become a better me. However, I'm learning now that, thinking this way doesn't benefit me emotionally or spiritually. Instead I've learned to say nice things to myself even when I don't feel at my best. I'm also learning that motivation works best for me with encouraging words.
How to gain self-compassion:
Self-kindness: you have to treat yourself with kindness especially when dealing with pain, and suffering. Say kind, motivating things to yourself all the time.( try to hug yourself everyday)
Common humanity: you have to realize that suffering is shared with all of humanity and is apart of life. Don't let your suffering consume you.
Mindfulness: be aware of your negative thoughts and emotions. Try not to judge your negative feelings or thoughts, but instead recognize it, and try to over power that feeling with positive thinking.

What you think about yourself is much more important than what others think of you.

Let it Go!

As I get older I realize that I have fewer friends. I believe that in order for me to see God's blessings, I have to continuously let go of negative people. My advice when it comes to friends is, love them as you love yourself. If they don't appreciate you, and are sneaky, devious, and mean people, let them go. It's better for your mind, body and soul to have positive, loving, caring people around you. Most likely, the people who can't reciprocate the same positive attitude as you have inner demons of their own. Give them time to change and become a better person. Then, maybe in the future you can build a positive, strong friendship.
Have you ever had to let go any of your friends because they were too negative?

YOU'RE FIRED!!!!
So many men are getting FIRED!!! A relationship is just like applying for a job. So you hire a guy because you liked what you read on his resume, and the interview went really well. OK perfect! However, once he's given the job you notice that he's not living up to his resume skills, and begins to slack on his job. What do you do? Do you give him a warning? If so, how many warnings? I say, if you really like the guy and you think he may be the one, you should give him no more than three warnings. If you have to give him more than that, then he's not qualified for the job in the first place.
P.S: Letting someone go is always hard. Try to look on the bright side. By letting this worker go, you open up the door for a new hot sexy worker to apply for the job. And hopefully this new worker will do anything in his power to keep his job.

RISE UP!!!
Being abused doesn't feel good! Whether it's verbally, mentally, or physically. So why are so many women in abusive relationships? I believe it's because we as females forget our self worth. Thank God we have females like Beyonce`, who remind us of our self value and help build women's self esteem with songs like "Run The World (Girls)". This song is full of empowering words and is overall a great message for all ages. We can accomplish anything! We're unstoppable, yet we give our beautiful power over to boys/men but why? Don't settle to be a man's stepping tool. Instead work on achieving your goals and don't let any man take away your shine.
Were you ever in an abusive relationship? What advice do you have for females who are in an abusive relationship?

Feeling Good From Within!
Good Afternoon! I haven't been exercising lately and I feel horrible :(... however, I'm proud to say that I'm back at it again and will be going jogging later on today! To all my beautiful females out there, it's very important to stay active and healthy. Try your best to stay away from fattening foods and instead intake more fruits and vegetables like: grapefruit, berries, bananas, carrots, avocados and broccoli. Drink lots of water throughout the day because it's very important to stay hydrated. Below please find a list of fun active ways to stay fit during the summer.
Bike Riding- I love to bike ride in Central Park. It's a great way to clear your head as you enjoy the outdoor scenery.
Take a Dance Class- Take a fun active dance class with your partner, friend or by yourself. Learning something new can be enlighten.
Swimming- In this crazy heat who wouldn't want to be in cool pool water? Swimming is fun, relaxing and you wont even realize that your exercising.
What fun activity helps you stay fit? PLEASE SHARE

Intro
Hello, my name is Nicole and welcome to my blog. My blog is for mature men and women. However, my main focus is to uplift and support all women out there. Too often do we settle for men's bullshit. I'm tired of beautiful, strong, intelligent women I know settling for way less than what they deserve. I'm far from perfect, and I had my share of weak moments. Now I'm determined to stay focus and strong. I want my blog to be therapy for woman who are in abusive, toxic, or boring relationships. Women deserve happiness and love and I'm here to help each and every women find that within herself. We need to stop feeling sorry for men because they don't feel sorry for us. Instead they lie, abuse, cheat, and leave us in the dust. It's about time that we put on our big girl panties and march together.
